Music

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.

Music is central to our life and worship at St. Bartholomew’s.  Every Sunday service and many Wednesday services feature congregational hymns led by our organist and director of music.  From September through May of every year we also have an active parish choir that rehearses and performs on a weekly basis. 

 

Music at St. Bart’s ranges from ancient and classical hymns and chants to contemporary praise & worship and familiar Gospel tunes.  The summer months provide an opportunity for particular creativity in music.
