Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church
Livermore, California
Corazón
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
-Matthew 5:9
Corazón is Mexico’s equivalent to Habitat for Humanity in the United States, and the Southern Alameda Deanery of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of California, of which St. Bartholomew’s is a part, is an active participant. Every year, the six churches in our Deanery, including St. Bart’s, gather funds and volunteers and travel to Tijuana, Mexico. In a single day, volunteers assemble a home just south of the border for a family that has likely never before been able to stay together under a safe and stable roof.
