St. Bartholomew’s is an active member of Interfaith Interconnect of the Tri-Valley.  This organization exists and meets regularly to build up knowledge, understanding, and cooperation among the wide diversity of faith traditions represented in our region.  For example, in June of 2017 St. Bart’s was the host site for an Iftar dinner, the ritual evening break-the-fast observed by Muslims during the month of Ramadan, an event offered by the East Bay Muslim Community Center that featured prayer, great food, and speakers from the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions.
