Eucharistic Ministers & Lay Readers
Eucharistic Ministers and Lay Readers assist the clergy at Sunday and special services by reading lessons, leading the congregation in prayer and serving at the altar.
The schedules on the right show the assignments for Eucharistic Ministers and Lay Readers for the 9:30 am Summer Service schedule. On September 13th, we revert back to our normal two service format (8:00 am and 10:30 am). New schedules will be published at that time.
Two Eucharistic Ministers are assigned to serve, each carrying a chalice during the Holy Communion. During the service, the first Eucharistic Minister reads the first lesson, with the second reading the Psalm.
The first Lay Reader reads the second lesson, with the second leading the congregation in the Prayers of the People.
