Capital Campaign

Our new Capital Campaign kicked-off Aug 29. We are planning for a 3 year campaign focusing on 3 key objectives:

In order to prevent a bucket brigade from having to work next winter, our highest priority is to repair or replace the church roof. The first thing will be to review roofers' assessments of the condition of the roof and possibilities for remedy and the discrete placement of solar panels on the roof.

Our second category involves the grounds. Currently the watering system is a patchwork quilt of different controls, areas where there is no automatic watering, problems with the fountain, and problems with the lines. Hopefully we will be able to place all the areas under one control system, add and repair drip lines, and run a water line with a float attachment to the fountain to maintain a sufficient water level. The interior patio will look so beautiful with a new ground cover (maybe bricks) and new plants.

We need to improve some of the electrical and lighting outside and in the Parish Hall. (The electrical inside the church has already been repaired.)

Other than that, there are many dreams for the remainder of the money. Please pledge generously so we can take care of the roof and get some maintenance items done. Remember you can spread the payments over three years. All of us can always pray that He will stir our hearts for this campaign.
